Tributes were held throughout the April 16-18 weekend for Michael Zimmerman Jr. including Mike Zimmerman Sr. making a lone pass done the quarter in JR's car at both Firebird and Speedworld. A moment of silence was held at Speedworld and Racers for Christ's Chuck Rosa said a prayer at both tracks. Several of JR's friends and loved ones got the Nitro fish tattoo to remember "Hollywood" by. Tony Marconi dedicated his win to JR and Joe Espositio gave his winning check from the Pro class at the Team Firebird race to Kim and Mike Zimmerman Sr. |
